LaSf Sketches

21 pages of sketchbook on my travels to LA and San Francisco. 

Some of the sketches are done live at Venice Beach, Union Station and Yosemite, the rest are from the in-flight travel magazines on Nepal and Japan Kumano Kodo trail.

Wanted to try and paint a stary night. Done entirely in Photoshop, with lots of layers and it is my first extensive use of smudge tool. The process is enjoyable enough to be repeated another day :)

Perhaps it is better to be foolish than timid. Mistakes as well as successes are only another stroke, another mark on an already colorful wall. In the end, what matters more is continually falling forward and catching yourself towards your destiny.
